Privacy policy

How HomeRadar handles your data.

A plain-English overview of the account, extension, saved-home, and property listing data used to run HomeRadar.

What HomeRadar does

What HomeRadar does

HomeRadar helps property buyers analyse supported property listings, save homes, compare shortlists, and open buyer reports. The Chrome extension reads supported Rightmove and Zoopla listing pages only so it can send relevant property details to the HomeRadar service and show the analysis panel.

Data we collect

Data we collect

Account data: your email address, sign-in status, subscription or tester access status, and account settings needed to provide your workspace.

Authentication data: secure session tokens issued by Supabase Auth so the website and extension can confirm that you are signed in. HomeRadar does not store your password in plain text.

Listing content: property page information needed for analysis, such as listing URL, portal listing ID, asking price, property type, bedrooms, postcode or location clues, description text, listing status, price history, council tax information when disclosed, image URLs, floorplan URLs, and analysis results.

Saved-home data: homes you choose to save, compare, or open as reports, including the evidence snapshot available when HomeRadar analysed the listing.

Operational data: error messages, request timing, and basic usage counts needed to keep the service secure, debug faults, and enforce free-check or plan limits.

Data we do not collect

Data we do not collect

HomeRadar does not collect your general browsing history, emails, messages, payment card numbers, health information, or device GPS location.

The extension is limited to supported Rightmove and Zoopla property pages plus HomeRadar and Supabase endpoints. It does not read unrelated websites.

Property location data describes the home being analysed, not the physical location of the person using the browser.

How we use data

How we use data

We use data to analyse property listings, show evidence-led buyer context, connect the extension to your account, save and compare homes, generate report pages, manage plan access, prevent abuse, and improve reliability.

We do not sell user data. We do not use user data for unrelated advertising. We do not use HomeRadar data to determine creditworthiness or make lending decisions.

What the AI can access

What the AI can access

AI Buyer View receives selected property-listing content from Rightmove or Zoopla, such as the description, photographs and floorplans. It does not have access to your HomeRadar account, password, emails, personal files or general browsing history.

HomeRadar does not include your account details or sign-in tokens in the AI request. Listing content itself may contain information published by the agent.

Service providers

Service providers

HomeRadar uses service providers to run the product, including Supabase for authentication and database services, hosting/infrastructure providers for the website and API, and browser-extension distribution through the Chrome Web Store. These providers process data only so HomeRadar can operate the service.

If paid billing is enabled later, payment details should be handled by a payment processor rather than stored directly by the Chrome extension.

Storage and retention

Storage and retention

The extension stores a secure sign-in session and lightweight account state in Chrome storage so you do not have to reconnect on every listing. You can remove this by signing out of the extension or removing the extension from Chrome.

Saved homes and reports are kept while your account needs them. Unsaved analysis data may be cached for reliability, rate limiting, and product quality, and may be deleted or reduced when it is no longer useful.

Your choices

Your choices

You can use the website without saving homes, sign out of the website or extension, remove saved homes from your shortlist, uninstall the extension, or contact HomeRadar to ask about your account data.

You should verify important property details with the estate agent, council, surveyor, solicitor, lender, or official source before making a property decision. HomeRadar provides research context, not legal, financial, survey, mortgage, or investment advice.
